Plan Audits & Reviews
It is a compliance requirement that an annual audit of your security plan and associated documentation and activities is carried out by a competent person that is independent of the plan. Security Skills Training can carry out anything from a part audit (not all elements need to be audited annually) to a full audit based on a Department for Transport inspection.
Security Drills & Exercises
An area that port facilities often struggle with are the requirement to hold drills and exercises. Security Skills Training can help and assist with the planning, execution and documenting your quarterly drills and annual exercise.
Security Surveys & Reviews
Security Skills Training can also carry out security and CCTV surveys, reviews, and preparation of operational requirement documents. We also hope to offer the Counter Terror Appointed Person service in the near future when the qualification comes online in 2026.
